Sleeping Beauty isn't just a story I loved as a girl.
She's a woman whose gifts, dreams and voice got quietly set aside;
put to sleep by forgetting herself, or from not being truly seen by others.
Not recognizing her own value, she slowly started to feel invisible.
And yet, the story doesn't end there.
That's the story I write about here, because I know it well.

I have spent years raising my family, building businesses, and doing my best to make it all work.
Then life forced me in a new direction.
I am grateful for the resilience, creativity, and faith in God
that has carried me through.
I have gone through the fire like Job in the Bible.
Now my world is like that of Sleeping Beauty... after she was awakened by the kiss from her prince.

My desire is to inspire women to believe and act upon their dreams.
This must start with them first knowing and realizing their valuable identity.
My goal is to help other Sleeping Beauties become Awakening Beauties.
Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Heidi are not just fairytales for me.
They hold a wisdom I choose to explore and realize each day.
My newest dream is to create income from my writing and creativity
and to get in the best physical shape of my life.
